For some, the love of music is learned…but for Michael “DJ Toothbrush” Green, the love of music was instilled in him from a very young age.  Born and raised in Louisiana, music was a part of his life from the very beginning. From backyard boogie parties as a child to family owned nightclubs in Los Angeles, the love and appreciation of different types of music was not to be denied.  

In 1991, DJ Toothbrush moved to Houston, TX and spent his 20’s in the nightclubs of Houston. He quickly became a fan of DJs that were on the scene in the late 90’s such as DJ Baby Jae, KleanCutt of the KrackerNutts, DJ LaRose Royce and DJ Mr. Rogers.  He would spend his evenings going to different venues, comparing DJ styles and genres and the effect each of them had on the crowd. It was something that fascinated him. He knew that one day he too, would be getting people onto the dance floor and making them move.

What started as an expensive hobby quickly turned to a passion back in early 2000 with the purchase of his first DJ equipment.  From that point forward, he was hooked…he was a DJ!  He started off by booking small house parties, weddings and corporate events.  His growing success as a local DJ came with referrals and new bookings.   In 2010, DJ Toothbrush met The League DJs in Atlanta, GA for March Madness.  There, he watched The League DJs in action and took notes.  Upon his return to Houston, he committed to perfecting his craft and becoming a better DJ. 

Now, some seven plus years later he still loves to DJ, bringing that passion and love to the people for them to enjoy.    He has since become a member of The League DJs that he once admired in Atlanta, he is available for bookings for events in and around the Houston Metro area.  From private house parties to corporate events; from weddings to nightclubs…DJ Toothbrush can make your event a success through the use of music.  If you are looking for a DJ that is a true people person…look no further.   No matter what the venue is, DJ Toothbrush will bring the energy and the heat.  Your guests will be “BRUSH-TIZED” and everyone is sure to have a great time.
